This site (yegappan.pages.dev) is a personal portfolio and blog built and maintained by Yegappan Sekar. I respect your privacy and collect only the minimal data necessary to run the site.
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never shared with third parties. You can request deletion at any time by emailing yegappans2910@gmail.com.
Blog post views are counted anonymously. When you visit a post, the following data may be logged: approximate country/city (from Cloudflare's IP geolocation), device type (mobile/desktop), and referrer URL. No personal identifiers, cookies, or cross-site tracking are used. This data is used only to understand which posts are popular.
If you click an AI tool link on a blog post, the click is recorded along with the same anonymous metadata described above (country, device, referrer). This helps me understand how readers interact with the content.
Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
There are no third-party analytics scripts (e.g. Google Analytics), no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, and no persistent cookies set by this site.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, headers) as part of routing and DDoS protection. Refer to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
Email notifications for contact form submissions are sent via Resend. Refer to Resend's Privacy Policy for details.
Contact messages are retained until manually deleted. Anonymous analytics data (page views, AI clicks) is retained indefinitely in aggregate form. You may request deletion of any data you have personally submitted.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you've submitted via the contact form. Send your request to yegappans2910@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. Significant changes will be noted here.
